The High Crotch takedown is one of the fundamental moves in wrestling. At the Dan Gable \"on-the-mat\" Demonstration Clinic (2006), Coach Eiter broke down his favorite High Crotch technique - it is now available to the general public for the first time on DVD! Eiter starts with the set-up position, working from inside control. From there he covers his \"Snake in the Leg\" approach, which puts your wrestler tighter into the opponent and cuts down his chance for escape. He finishes the move with a double leg finish. During his demonstration Eiter discusses common mistakes wrestlers make during this takedown, and how to correct them. Eiter also includes a High Crotch finish from the pull over, collar tie, wrist control and redirection set-ups. Eiter does a great job teaching this simple, yet effective takedown.
